Good, safe parking, food in the adjoining pub was good and the service from staff was outstanding. The room was spotlessly clean,my only gripe was the annex room was too light for me with the illuminated exit sign above the door and not everyone can use the provided eye mask,it doesn't need to be that bright! Also the heaters were a bit too warm at night and you can't really shut them off as you need them to keep warm in the day.Other than that a well equipped room and nice wet room ,plus food free WiFi .I would visit again but with a piece of cardboard and tape to block out the light over the door .

We are staying at the castle but came here for a meal. Food was great, very friendly staff . Well done all round. The game of peg solitaire was a nice touch on the table. And no we couldn't win. Thank you to all staff in the kitchen as well.

We called in here for something to eat and drink following a visit to Tintagel Castle. Friendly staff, tasty food with very generous portions sizes. We had the Sunday Roast, very enjoyable. The restaurant is dog friendly as well. We would highly recommend a visit if you’re in the area.

A great place to relax and enjoy a wonderful meal and drink. Andrew was fantastic as was our lovely waitress. The curry was amazing and the vegetable cottage pie was a vegetarians dream.

Popped in here for something to eat and drink after walking around the castle at Tintagel and was pleasantly surprised. Friendly staff welcomes you with an excellent array of beers, ciders, lagers & wines & spirits. The food was top quality with generous portions served. There is a specials board to choose from along with the usual menus available for lunch & dinner. Can recommend the game pie and Cumberland sausage wholeheartedly (see photos). A lovely touch was found in the ladies loo where, if you've got small kids, there is a ""high chair"" to strap them into, attached to the wall, leaving you "hands free!!" Would highly recommend a visit here!

From the minute we walked in all the staff were so friendly and caring especially Jess. We were made so welcome. Our room was lovely and spacious. Everywhere was so clean. Food was delicious especially the poached eggs at breakfast. Definitely recommend staying here.

Visited this morning with my fiancé literally just missed the breakfast menu (however they offered to cook us breakfast if that’s what we’d wanted) we ordered food and this is no word of a lie . This was the best food I’ve ever eaten in my 41 years . I don’t go leaving reviews often but the food and service in here was top notch . The woman that we spoke to as we entered was great and the bloke that rung through our food was super polite . The chef knows what he’s doing . I ordered a burger that had peanut butter and raspberry chipotle sauce . Wow . It was incredible. We’ll be back .

The food was excellent — fresh, tasty, and very clean, with clear attention to quality. I arrived about six minutes before 12, but unfortunately, a lady with blonde hair didn’t allow me to pay for the Sunday roast until noon. By the time I returned, there was already quite a long queue, and I had to wait nearly 20 minutes with my hungry child outside. However, the rest of the staff were wonderful — very friendly and professional. Overall, I highly recommend the Sunday roast; it’s definitely worth trying!
